About Rosie

I am a therapeutic counsellor working in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. I offer a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore the challenges you’re facing, at a pace that feels right for you.

I have a special interest in working with people experiencing anxiety, grief and the impacts of past trauma. Alongside my private practice, I also support clients through a local bereavement charity, which deepens my understanding of the many ways people experience and process loss.

My approach is grounded in warmth, empathy, and a deep respect for your individual journey. Whether you’re feeling unsettled, overwhelmed, anxious or low, I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion — helping you make sense of your experience and move toward a place of greater ease and self-understanding.

What might bring you to Therapy with Rosie?

  • You might feel constantly on edge, with racing thoughts or tension in your body. Stress can creep in through work, relationships or other life demands and anxiety can make even the smallest of tasks feel overwhelming. Counselling can help you unpick what is behind these feelings and find ways to feel more grounded and at ease.

  • Loss can take many forms; the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or the loss of a longed-for future. Grief is not linear and it can feel isolating when others expect you to ‘move on’. Counselling offers you a space where your grief is honoured and can be processed at your own pace.

  • Past experiences such as bullying, traumatic childbirth, abuse, or other distressing events can continue to affect you long after they have happened. You might feel triggered in certain situations or carry a sense of shame, fear or mistrust. Counselling through trauma-informed therapy recognises the profound impact trauma can have on your emotional, mental, and physical well-being. It helps you to understand the impact of these past experiences and begin to heal.

  • Depression can feel like a fog, making it hard to enjoy things you used to love, or feel hopeful about the future. Sometimes it comes after a big life event, other times it builds slowly without an obvious cause. In counselling you can explore what is going on underneath the surface and begin to reconnect with a sense of meaning and motivation.

  • Whether with a romantic partner, family member, friend or colleague, relationship struggles can leave you feeling hurt, frustrated or alone. You might be facing a conflict, a breakdown in trust or a sense of disconnection. Counselling can help you explore your patterns of relating, communicate more openly, and understand what you need in your relationships.

  • Whether a life transition is planned or unexpected it can bring both excitement and uncertainty. Moving house, changing jobs, becoming a parent, retiring or adjusting to a new stage of life can leave you feeling unsettled. Counselling can help you navigate these changes and find a way forwards again.

In-person Counselling

50-minute sessions at Aylesbury Therapy Centre.

£55 per session, payment made 72 hours before the session.

30-minute sessions either online or over the phone offering the opportunity to connect and discuss how therapy might help you.
